That passion, paired with his deep knowledge of the industry, made opening their own garage a natural next step.
Kevin and his wife, Crystal, proudly live in the heart of Fairmount and saw a need in their community for reliable, honest auto care backed by real expertise. Mulkey’s Small Town Auto Repair was created to serve local drivers and support the small-town businesses that make Fairmount feel like home.

Called first thing Monday AM no brake lights…they say come on in and boom fixed in 20 minutes and came back for more parts and repairs I needed later that day and they stayed really late to get me 100%!!! Awesome crew! Highly recommend! Oh and they didn’t break the bank!!!

The fastest and most pleasant experience
Went in to have them look at it and they were able to get me in and fix it that day! Jessica and Crystal were so nice and very welcoming! Even pointed me in the direction of a very cute creamery while I waited on my car! The service tech that worked on my car was so informative as well and told me exactly what was wrong and what he had done! Not only that but the prices were extremely reasonable! 10/10 very much recommend this shop! I will definitely be going back to them every time I need something done!

Outstanding Service. I travel for work. I hit something in the road and my bottom cover came off of my car and dragged the streets. I stopped in and Kyler fix my issue in less then 30 minutes. I was in and out. He was very kind and I received Excellent Customer Service from the ladies at the desk. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. 100% recommend.
